  i just read an email from a friend, and she shared some very interesting emails from her friends about information on changes now happening at the bethels around the world.

  here is the email: .

  Hmmm, funny. This was just in a recent days text. They seem to be using that chilling line more and more of late. Seems like this statement is used just a few weeks or months before something is dropped on the rank and file like the May 2014 donation letter.

  Reasons for leak and building stop story

  i have some feeling about the am2015 leak and the recent building stop story going arround.. it wouldn't surprise me that the information is a calculated leak.. - jw's are informal informed about the changes and adopt them informal.. - the building stop influences the concience of jw's for donating more money.. at the other hand, maybe there has occured a financial disaster for example they invested bilions in volkswagen.. gorby.

  I think we're closer to it now than we were, say, a year ago.

  I cannot remember where it was, but sometime ago I remember reading about the Borg coming under investigation by the Charity Commission. Coupled that with a few months ago, I read something about the government not punishing religious organizations that condone same sex marriages. Very interesting.

  If this rumour is true about all construction work coming to a halt, this could send shock waves rippling through the entire WBTS community!!

  What DJS said, I agree with that. Without donations, the entire, and I mean entirety of the Borg assets are in jeopardy!!

  i just called brooklyn bethel service dept.

  they said they had not heard anything about a worldwide shut down of construction.

  i asked if he had heard about london bethel shutting down construction.. he said no that it was a surprise to him.

  When it comes to layoffs, it may be intentional that the Bethelites are the last to know. Maybe they want to do a bit of spin doctoring and break it to them gently over a series of weeks.

  Or he could just be in denial. He does not want to believe what could be the inevitable.

  This is just entirely shocking, I'm just at loss for words over this, if the construction work is suspended. That big May 2014 letter about forever loan forgiveness with the congregations on a never ending monthly lump sum send to the Borg for supposedly a need for kingdom halls. Wow!! This has just got to be sending shock waves through the Borg community.

  Any thoughts on the real reasons for droppng the 'school"

  my thoughts are.

  1. they want to avoid being made to comply with any laws that come with anything classed as a "school" especially a school with children enrolled.. 2. the mid-week meeting has been dying in the ass for years and needs a revival.

  i predict happy -clappy-sing-a-longs to be included in the program.. anyone else have any thoughts ??

  Brooklyn Layoffs and Halt to Kingdom Hall construction projects

  a good source just just told me that at morning worship today that the governing body announced that a total of 1600 bethelites will be let get go and not transferred to warwich when the last property is sold in brooklyn and all kingdom hall building projects are on hold for at least a year so that all the focus will be on the preaching work.

  I feel bad for most of the people who'll be laid off. Many of them sacrificed a lot in service of what they sincerely felt was right.

  However, one of the most arrogant people I know is a Bethel elder who gets sent to conventions to give talks. I knew him 20 years ago before he ever went to Bethel. I won't feel sorry for him at all if he doesn't make the cut. He can go to hell.

  We can appreciate that sentiment. But I tend to begin to agree with what someone else said yesterday. If someone set themselves to be screwed, why feel sorry for them? screw-em

  seriously, they will change the midweek meeting ever so slightly.

  it is just repackaging of the same old stuff.seriously, we don't know if construction is halted for days, weeks, months, forever, or what.. we don't know if new kingdom halls will still go up, old kingdom halls will be closed and sold.

  they have laid off bethelites before and they will lay them off some more.

  A simple explanation for the financial changes

  as i've mentioned from time to time, i'm a retired accountant.

  i have tried many times to come up with some logical, sound business reason why the wtbs has made the big changes in its financial arrangements: taking the congregations savings, the monthly donations per congregation etc.

  i finally came up with the answer.. the leadership of the watchtower society is batshit crazy.

  I think the $hit is about to hit the fan with these financial issues. Probably that Royal Commission had more detrimental effects which we don't really know about.
